What I stand for
"Automations for Good" has two meanings that are important to me.
My automations are built "for good" because...
- ...they have a positive impact on the world, making technology work for the good of humankind and the planet we live on and human dignity and kindness and autonomy and whatever else goodness can be applied to.
- ...they last for a long time without breaking and with as few changes or updates as possible. My goal is always for each new piece of software I make to last for 10 years or more. I don't want to contribute to short-lived productivity hacks; I want to build something that lasts and that your mission can depend on for years to come.
I believe that technology should be used to make people's lives better, not just to make us more efficient or more connected, and certainly not to make anyone's lives worse in pursuit of profit. If there's a way that I can improve lives with technology, I would love to be there and help however I can.
